Big Bomb Autoflowering in detail

Origin & classification

Big Bomb Autoflowering was developed by Bomb Seeds as an autoflowering cross of Big Bomb and a selected Ruderalis line. The breeding goal is clear: Big Bomb’s high-yielding orientation was to be combined with an automatic onset of flowering and a manageable plant height. We classify this specific version as an Indica-Sativa autoflower without assigning it a clear dominance.

Aroma & flavour

Aromatically, Big Bomb Auto moves in an uncomplicated fruity direction. Sweet notes form the foundation, complemented by a fresh impression. The profile is not described as heavy, earthy or particularly spicy, instead focusing on approachable fruit and sweetness. This combination fits the relatively clear effect described and distinguishes the strain from distinctly heavy autoflower varieties.

Terpene profile

Recurring experience descriptions mention an energetic, mentally stimulating and fresh progression. Balance, relaxation and a physically perceptible effect are also reported. The stated THC range of 10–15 % may explain why the effect is portrayed as less overwhelming. However, these values depend on phenotype, batch, cultivation conditions, harvest and analysis; individual perception may also vary considerably.

Effect tendency

In cultivation, the strain remains comparatively compact to medium-sized at around 65–95 cm. Its growth habit is therefore particularly suitable for spaces where height is limited. Despite its small stature, an indoor yield of approximately 450–500 g/m² is stated. Such yield figures are breeder-related reference values under suitable conditions and are not a guarantee. For outdoor cultivation, the potential is classified as merely average.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

The time specification is important: The stated 75–85 days refer to the complete life cycle from sowing, not exclusively to the flowering phase. Another overview summarises the same period as approximately eleven to twelve weeks from seed to harvest. As an autoflower, Big Bomb Auto begins flowering according to age, meaning that no change to the light cycle is required to initiate flowering indoors.

Further classification

The difficulty level is stated as easy. Combined with automatic flowering, limited height and a short overall duration, this results in a well-manageable cultivation profile. The defining characteristic remains the attempt to achieve high yields per unit area not through large plants, but through compact specimens that finish quickly. The aroma and effect complement this cultivation concept with sweet fruitiness and an orientation that is more clear than heavy.
