Arjan's Haze 1 in detail
Origin & classification
Arjan's Haze 1 combines G13 with Haze and was developed by Greenhouse Seeds as a powerful Sativa cultivar. The genetic distribution is stated as 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. Its first-place finish at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2004 marks an important historical milestone. We classify it as an award-winning, photoperiod Haze hybrid with pronounced potency and vigorous growth.
Aroma & flavour
The aroma combines sweetness, spice and citrus with a minty accent. As a result, the strain offers both the bright, fresh aspects of a Haze and a more pronounced spice component. The documented information does not allow individual terpenes to be assigned reliably. The profile therefore focuses on the directly described flavour and aroma characteristics rather than a presumed chemical composition.
Terpene profile
The effects are considered strong, psychedelic, uplifting and long-lasting. The main feature is an energised, clear-headed cerebral high that is repeatedly associated with creativity. A subtle physical component is also described, which may contribute to mild relaxation without overshadowing the cerebral character. Such effects vary with the individual, amount, batch and phenotype. The stated THC level of 21,44% or around 21% is therefore a reference value, not a fixed characteristic of every harvest. CBD is stated at approximately 0,4%.
Effect profile
Arjan's Haze 1 is considered demanding and grows tall both indoors and outdoors. Its photoperiod flowering period lasts approximately eleven weeks. For outdoor cultivation, a harvest window towards the end of October is documented. This combination of a long maturation period, large stature and high yield potential requires sufficient space and a season extending into late autumn.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
Indoors, the yield potential is generally described as high. Outdoors, around 1500g per plant is stated under very good conditions. This is a breeder-reported peak value that depends heavily on climate, location, root space, plant size and care. The strain should therefore not be assessed on the basis of a guaranteed harvest quantity. Its defining characteristics are instead clearly documented: G13-Haze ancestry, pronounced Sativa dominance, approximately eleven weeks of flowering, a sweet and spicy citrus profile, and an intense, long-lasting cerebral effect. Its 2004 competition success adds a specifically documented element to the strain’s history.
