Clockwork Orange in detail
Origin & classification
The history of Clockwork Orange is explicitly unresolved. The rare clone is said to have been passed on to Matthew Riot of Riot Seeds from the Temecula area of California. Its former holder variously claimed that the plant originated from a colchicine experiment or appeared as a mutation in a package of Alaskan Ice. The source itself considers none of these accounts proven. Speculation about G13, Black Widow, White Widow or Haze also remains unconfirmed.
Aroma & flavour
The distinctive morphology in particular makes the clone recognizable. During the vegetative phase and up to around the middle of flowering, twisted leaves may appear. Unusually large leaves are also described, potentially reaching more than two feet in length indoors. The plant is said to grow in a more columnar form and require plenty of space. Due to its large leaf mass, the source does not present it as particularly well suited to tightly managed Sea-of-Green systems.
Terpene profile
Given sufficient space, the historical description attributes considerable yield potential to Clockwork Orange, but does not provide reliable quantities. Flowering is said to take approximately ten to ten and a half weeks; the structured dataset summarizes this as ten to eleven weeks. These details refer to the specific clone-only cut and remain dependent on cultivation conditions. Its rarity is also emphasized: only a few people are said to have kept the original clone.
Effect tendency
The aroma of the mother clone is described primarily as earthy and difficult to characterize more precisely. The structured data also lists an orange note. A second brief English description even mentions sharp orange peel and musk, as well as a deeply relaxing physical effect and 18 to 22 percent THC. These details are not sufficiently linked to the comprehensive historical source and should therefore not yet be adopted as confirmed properties of the rare clone.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
The currently normalized parentage “Alaskan Ice × White Widow × Haze” also oversimplifies the source material in an impermissible way. Although Alaskan Ice itself is listed there as a White Widow-Haze cross, the text explicitly questions whether Clockwork Orange clearly originated from it. The responsible profile must therefore identify the mutation, origin and genetics as legends or open questions. What remains reliable is the clone-only status, the unusual leaves, the space-demanding growth, the earthy base aroma and a flowering time of approximately ten to ten and a half weeks.
