Dosilato in detail
Origin & classification
Do-Si-Dos and Gelato #41 make up Dosilato's complete lineage. The name combines both parents while also announcing the modern dessert character of the cross. We classify Dosilato as an indica-dominant hybrid with approximately 70 percent Indica. Do-Si-Dos contributes a compact, resin-rich structure and earthy dough notes, while Gelato #41 expands the creamy sweetness, colour and dark berry direction.
Aroma & flavour
Sweet cookie dough and earthy Kush take centre stage, accompanied by sharp gas and subtle dark berries. On the palate, creamy pastry is joined by a spicy, herbal mint accent. Beta-caryophyllene, limonene and linalool are associated with the spicy, citrusy and floral-dough facets. However, their concentrations, like cannabinoid levels, vary considerably with phenotype, cultivation, maturity, drying and laboratory methods.
Terpene profile
The reported experience begins softly and may initially be noticeable as pressure behind the eyes. This is followed by a heavy, warming body sensation and a calmer, slower mental pace. Dosilato is therefore generally assigned to the relaxed, body-focused side. The THC range is typically 20 to 26 percent, but is not identical for every plant or every batch. Onset and intensity also remain individual.
Effect tendency
The plant develops broad fan leaves, short, sturdy internodes and dense bracts that swell noticeably during the final weeks of flowering. Dark forest green and violet tones may appear beneath a thick layer of glassy trichomes. The cured flowers are dense and sticky; even after drying and curing, the resin is described as greasy. Because of this dense structure, airflow and low humidity are particularly important towards the end of flowering.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
Dosilato remains medium in height and shows controlled, moderate stretch at the beginning of flowering. A flowering time of eight to nine weeks is cited, yield potential is considered medium to high, and the difficulty level moderate. Topping and low-stress plant training are listed to encourage lateral shoots and an even canopy. The strong trichome production also makes the flowers interesting for solventless processing. Dosilato thus combines a clearly recognisable pastry-berry aroma with colourful, compact flower architecture. Its calm body character complements this sensory side without a single THC value needing to explain the entire profile.
