Origin & classification

Auto Frisian Dew was developed through a two-year breeding project in the Netherlands. The starting point was a potent green phenotype of the original Frisian Dew, which was crossed with automatic Ruderalis genetics. The goal was a robust outdoor strain for northern climates. We classify Auto Frisian Dew as a balanced Indica-Sativa autoflower from Dutch Passion.

Aroma & flavour

The plant remains manageable at approximately 60 to 80 centimetres and develops a striking, large central cola. Its compact format makes it easier to accommodate at smaller outdoor sites. At the same time, it is described as resilient and easy to grow. This combination of low height, automatic development and an orientation towards cooler regions defines its practical character.

Terpene profile

Approximately ten to eleven weeks pass from seed to harvest. For this autoflower, this figure describes the complete life cycle from germination, not an isolated flowering phase. Under typical conditions, outdoor yields of up to approximately 50 grams per plant are stated. Under optimal conditions, this may reach 100 grams or more. Such yield figures depend heavily on light, weather, location, plant care and phenotype and do not constitute a fixed guarantee. Medium potential is stated for indoor cultivation.

Effect tendency

Sweetness takes centre stage in the aroma profile, accompanied by earthy and pine-like accents. Auto Frisian Dew therefore combines an accessible sweet flavour with earthy, forest-like tones. The effect is described as happy, relaxed, sociable and cerebral. This combination suggests a balanced experience in which neither physical calm nor mental presence dominates on its own. Individual experiences may vary.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

The THC content is described only as medium-high; no reliable percentage is available. No specific value is documented for CBD either. Precise figures would therefore be misleading. In 2014, Auto Frisian Dew took first place at the High Life Cup Autoflower in Amsterdam and is also listed among suitable strains for guerrilla growing. However, its particular standing is based above all on its clear breeding objective: an easy-care, compact autoflower that combines a short cycle, solid yields and a sweet-earthy profile in more northerly outdoor locations.
