Editorial profile

Bedrobinol® in detail

Origin & classification

Bedrobinol® is referred to in the German source description as the “Ludina” cultivar from the Dutch producer Bedrocan. However, the genetic information is contradictory: one passage mentions a close relationship to Jack Herer, an English source lists Afghani × Pure Haze, and another speaks generally of Haze genetics. None of these variants is sufficiently consistent in the dataset to establish an exact lineage. The Sativa-dominant classification is reliable.

Aroma & taste

The aroma has a classic, nature-oriented direction. Earthy, bitter herbs meet fresh citrus notes and subtle floral nuances. Wood, spice and resinous forest notes are also described. The normalized aroma data includes earth, citrus, herbs, flowers, freshness, wood and spice. An English source also mentions sweetness; because it does not appear consistently, it is not central to the profile.

Terpene profile

The documented terpene spectrum includes Myrcene, Limonene, Caryophyllene, Humulene, Pinene and Ocimene. The detailed description also mentions Cadinene. Without batch-specific laboratory values, no permanently valid ranking can be derived. The source interpretation associates Myrcene and Limonene with the balance of earthiness and freshness, while Caryophyllene and Humulene contribute spice, and Pinene, Ocimene and Cadinene complement the forest-like, resinous side.

Effect tendency

Energy, elevated mood, clarity and focus recur in the reported effects. Calming and relaxing impressions also appear; one source additionally mentions creativity. Bedrobinol® is therefore described not as one-sidedly stimulating, but as a mentally alert cultivar with a calmer counterbalance. These statements describe experiential tendencies, not a guaranteed effect at any given time. Wording concerning medical use or particularly good controllability is not adopted as a promise.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

The cannabinoid values also vary considerably. Figures of around 14 percent THC, 13 to 18 percent and 12 to 15 percent are cited; according to the sources, CBD is below 1 percent. Rather than selecting a seemingly exact THC value, Bedrobinol® should be understood as a moderately to distinctly THC-dominant, CBD-low profile. Batch and analysis may differ. Information on flowering time, yield and growth is unavailable. For the editorial classification, the cultivar name, Sativa dominance, the broad herbal-citrus-wood aroma and the combination of mental activity with composure are therefore the main defining factors.
