Blue Dream Autoflowering in detail
Origin & classification
Blue Dream Autoflowering was developed as a compact automatic version of Blue Dream. To achieve this, the well-known US genetics were combined with Ruderalis. We classify it as a sativa-dominant autoflowering strain with approximately 70 percent Sativa. Its breeding goal is clear: to combine the uplifting character and fruity aroma of Blue Dream with a short, self-initiated flowering cycle.
Aroma & taste
Sweet and fruity impressions take center stage in the flavor profile. This distinguishes the variety from automatic strains in which the Ruderalis content has a stronger influence on the aroma. Mature plants may also develop blue or purple hues. This coloration is a possible visual characteristic, but it is not a feature that will be equally visible in every phenotype and under all conditions.
Terpene profile
The effect is initially described as cheerful and cerebral. This is accompanied by recurring impressions of relaxation, calm and sociability. Blue Dream Autoflowering is therefore not exclusively heavy or body-focused, but combines a more stimulating mental side with a calmer finish. How prominently the individual facets emerge depends on individual response, phenotype and the potency of the respective material. The stated THC content of approximately 13 percent should therefore be understood as a guideline, not as a guaranteed content level for every plant.
Effect profile
In cultivation, Blue Dream Autoflowering remains comparatively short and bushy. Approximately ten to eleven weeks are stated for complete development from seed to harvest; this refers to the entire life cycle, not just the flowering period. Outdoors, it can reach approximately 1 to 1.2 meters. Outdoor yields are stated at approximately 30 to 90 grams per plant, while indoor yields are generally classified as medium.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
The compact form and short cycle make this Humboldt-Seed-Organization version interesting for limited space and shorter summers as well. The difficulty level is considered easy, so it is not aimed exclusively at experienced growers. Compared with the original Blue Dream, its potency is described as lower. However, its sweet, fruity orientation, sativa-leaning character and combination with a more relaxing, sociable effect remain.
