Origin & classification

The name CBD ComPassion alludes to the English word for compassion and refers to the breeding objective of a cannabinoid-balanced strain. Dutch Passion developed it from a Nepalese line and an unnamed Sativa. The exact identity of this second parent is not documented. We classify CBD ComPassion as a sativa-dominant, photoperiodic strain with a targeted THC-to-CBD ratio of approximately 1:1.

Aroma & flavour

Concentrations of up to 8% each are stated for both cannabinoids. These values are not guaranteed for every plant or every harvest: phenotype, cultivation, harvest timing and analytical methods influence the measured proportions. The defining aspect of the profile is therefore less an exact percentage than its approximately balanced orientation. Compared with many THC-dominant strains, CBD ComPassion stands out through the deliberate combination of both cannabinoids.

The aroma is described as floral, woody and pine-like. This places the strain away from pronounced sweet dessert profiles and towards a drier, plant-like forest direction.
