Origin & classification

Cherry Bomb Autoflowering was created when Bomb Seeds crossed a photoperiodic Cherry Bomb with a selected Siberian Ruderalis line. The breeding goal was a small, autoflowering plant that would preserve the fruity character of the parent strain. We classify this version as an indica-dominant automatic. Its combination of a short cycle, limited final height and pronounced flower production defines the profile more strongly than mere name similarity to other Cherry strains.

Aroma & flavour

Cherry takes centre stage in the aroma and flavour. General fruity notes are accompanied by a more pronounced skunk note, giving the sweetness a robust, slightly tart edge. The flowers are described as dense and heavily coated with crystals. At lower temperatures towards the end of flower development, they can develop purple and blue hues. This colouring depends on the conditions and therefore cannot be expected to the same extent on every plant.

Terpene profile

The effects are primarily described as body-focused. Recurring terms include body buzz, calmness and relaxation. We therefore classify Cherry Bomb Autoflowering as a compact automatic with a calm, indica-leaning profile. Approximately 17–20 percent THC is stated for this breeder-specific variant. The actual content varies with phenotype, cultivation, maturity and batch; there is no reliable figure for the CBD content.

Effect profile

Approximately 70–75 days, or ten to eleven weeks, are stated from seed to harvest. This refers to the complete life cycle and not exclusively to the flowering period. The plants usually reach around 50–80 centimetres and produce compact flowers despite their small format. The difficulty level is described as easy, which, together with the automatic onset of flowering, results in an accessible cultivation profile.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

For indoor cultivation, two slightly different yield ranges are given: approximately 350–450 and 350–400 grams per square metre. We therefore consider around 350–400 grams per square metre the more cautious reference value, not a guarantee. Outdoor yield is classified only as medium. Cherry Bomb Autoflowering thus combines a clearly recognisable cherry-skunk aroma, effects described as relaxing, colour-changing flowers and a short life cycle. The specific automatic version from Bomb Seeds is decisive; its figures should not be transferred without verification to every similarly named Cherry Bomb variant.
