Dark Devil Autoflowering in detail
Origin & classification
The rare colour development is the defining characteristic of Dark Devil Autoflowering. Its flowers and leaves can take on violet, dark green and dark red tones; under suitable conditions, parts of the flowers appear almost black towards the end. Sweet Seeds’ version is based on a combination of Big Devil XL Auto and Cannabis ruderalis. We classify it as an autoflowering Indica-Sativa mix whose appearance clearly departs from the usual green colouration.
Aroma & flavour
The colour change accompanies a compact, automatically flowering plant. Outdoors, a height of approximately 80 to 130 centimetres is stated, while indoor height is generally classified as medium. Cultivation is possible both in a tent and outdoors. The difficulty level is given as medium. The autoflowering characteristic and manageable size generally make the plant easy to handle, but they do not replace suitable care and monitoring during its very short development window.
Terpene profile
Fruit and citrus clearly take centre stage in the aroma. The profile complements the dark appearance with a brighter, fresher aromatic side. Individual terpenes or more precise fruit nuances are not reliably documented, so the description deliberately remains focused on these two recurring directions. The intense red, violet or black colouration also depends on phenotype and environment; not every specimen develops the entire stated palette to the same degree.
Effect profile
The effects combine relaxing with stimulating and motivating elements. Dark Devil Auto is therefore described as neither purely heavy nor exclusively energising. The Indica-Sativa mix reveals itself in an interplay of calm and stimulation. The specific intensity may vary depending on phenotype, harvest and individual perception. THC content is described only as medium, while no reliable figure is available for CBD content; apparently precise percentages would not be justified here.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
Eight to nine weeks are stated from seed to harvest. This period refers to the complete life cycle and not just the flowering phase. For indoor cultivation, 400 to 600 grams per square metre are documented, and outdoors, 50 to 200 grams per plant. Both figures represent potential yields under suitable conditions. The claim that indoor crops fundamentally produce at least twice as much should not be understood as a guarantee, as the area and individual plant are also measured differently.
Further classification
Dark Devil Autoflowering thus combines three clearly documented characteristics: short automatic development, fruity-citrusy aromas and an exceptional dark colour palette. Its flowers can range from vivid red to an almost black appearance, making them the visual focus. Relaxation and stimulation complement each other in the described effects, while the medium difficulty level and compact growth make the strain appear manageable both indoors and outdoors.
