The name DJ's Gold directly refers to the two parent lines: DJ Short Blueberry meets Jew Gold Cut, a Kush representative. This combination produces a hybrid with only a slight sativa dominance of 55 percent compared with 45 percent indica. We therefore do not classify DJ's Gold as a strongly sativa-dominant strain, but as an almost balanced cross whose Blueberry and Kush sides shape both its aroma and effects.

Aroma & flavor

The berry notes from the Blueberry side form the sweet, fruity center. Jew Gold Cut contributes earthy and lemon impressions, resulting in a three-part profile of berries, earth and lemon. The contrast between darker Kush spice and brighter fruit makes the aromatics easy to recognize. Individual terpenes or measurements have not been documented; a more precise chemical classification would therefore not be reliable. Here too, phenotype and processing influence the actual intensity.
