How to read the result
The calculator gives you direction for your next watering decision. It considers volume, plant stage, moisture pattern, runoff and plant response together. The result is intentionally cautious and does not replace checking the pot or bed.
Quick check
For everyday use: few inputs and a quick estimate. Useful when you want to check whether your current amount is plausible.
Expert mode
For unclear cases: more detail on root zone, moisture profile, drainage and warning signs.
Read the result
Do not focus only on litres. Checking windows, watering method and hints to check before adding more water matter too.
Limits
Root problems, standing water or unusual smells cannot be solved reliably by a calculator alone. Check the cause first.

Nein. Sie ist eine Orientierung für Living-Soil-Systeme. Substratstruktur, Topfmaterial, Klima und Pflanzenzustand können den tatsächlichen Bedarf verändern.
Warum gibt der Rechner keinen festen Gießplan aus?
Living Soil reagiert auf Pflanzenstadium, Wurzelraum, Temperatur, Topfgröße und Feuchteverteilung. Deshalb ist eine aktuelle Einschätzung meist sinnvoller als ein starrer Kalender.
Wann reicht der schnelle Check?
Der schnelle Check ist ideal, wenn du nur wissen möchtest, ob deine aktuelle Wassermenge ungefähr passt. Für unklare Probleme oder große Systeme ist der Expert-Modus besser.
Warum kann das Ergebnis auch „noch nicht gießen“ lauten?
Eine trockene Oberfläche bedeutet nicht automatisch, dass der Wurzelbereich trocken ist. Wenn darunter noch genug Feuchtigkeit vorhanden ist, kann weiteres Wasser Luft aus dem Substrat verdrängen.
Was mache ich, wenn das Ergebnis unsicher wirkt?
Kontrolliere den Wurzelbereich manuell, gieße vorsichtig in kleineren Durchgängen und beobachte, wie schnell die Pflanze und das Substrat reagieren.
