Toad Venom in detail
Origin & classification
Sour lime, cool mint and powerful gas make Toad Venom a hybrid with an unusually sharp profile. The cross of Animal Face and Sin Mintz is classified as approximately balanced between Indica and Sativa. Animal Face is primarily said to contribute gas, strength and pronounced vertical growth, while Sin Mintz adds the sour-mint side and a finer resin structure. The name is occasionally associated with the rapidly emerging, electrifying impression it is said to produce. However, there is no verified historical explanation for the name.
Aroma & flavour
The aroma clearly moves away from soft, exclusively sweet dessert profiles. Sour lime and mint open the impression, followed by gas and a chemically bitter acidity. Earthy pine and restrained herbal notes form the drier base. In terms of flavour, zesty citrus and mint notes are initially reported; doughy, peppery and slightly herbal nuances emerge later. Limonene, Caryophyllene, Myrcene and Nerolidol suit this blend of citrus, spice, earth and distinctive chemical-floral sharpness. Their actual proportions can vary from flower to flower.
Terpene profile
Toad Venom also has a clearly described visual character. The flowers are said to grow elongated, dense and spear-shaped. A neon-green base colour may contrast with deep-purple sugar leaves, while large, glassy-looking trichomes create a heavily frosted surface. During late flowering, the flowers continue to become denser and harder; cooler nights may intensify the purple tones. These characteristics are not guaranteed for every plant. Phenotype, temperature, lighting and other cultivation conditions influence colour, shape and resin coverage.
Effect tendency
The effect is described as fast, bright and distinctly euphoric. Reports also mention heightened sensory perception, an elevated mood and a tingling yet soft-feeling body sensation. Overall, the strain appears more present and lively than immediately heavy. This does not mean that everyone experiences the same progression. Cannabinoid profile, individual response and the amount consumed can significantly alter perception. The recurring descriptions are subjective experiences and are neither a promise nor a medical assessment.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
For individual indoor cultivations, approximately nine weeks of flowering, a height of 110 to 140 centimetres and 450 to 550 grams per square metre are cited. The strong stretch and heavy flower clusters may require additional support and good air movement. These figures come from a single specialised description and are only rough guidelines, not general characteristics or yield guarantees. The same applies to 25 to 29 percent THC, one to two percent CBG and the published terpene ranges. Phenotype, environment, harvest timing and measurement method can shift all values. What remains reliable above all is the combination of Animal Face × Sin Mintz, a sharp lime-mint-gas aroma and dense, elongated, heavily frosted flowers.
