Origin & classification
Chupacabra was created from The Black and Third Dimension, also known by the short form 3D. The cross combines the dark coloration and dense flowers of the Indica side with the more elongated structure and brighter aromatic profile of its Sativa parent. We classify Chupacabra as a sativa-dominant hybrid. During flowering, it produces long, spear-shaped colas with swollen calyxes and notably few leaves.
Aroma & flavour
Its aroma is defined by a contrast between sweet incense, spicy Haze notes and sharp citrus. This bright side is complemented by damp earth, pine wood and a subtle dark berry note. In terms of flavour, the citrusy opening is followed by an earthy Kush base with a dry, woody finish. The strain develops a particularly greasy-looking resin layer that can extend well across the flowers and sugar leaves, giving its appearance a wet sheen.
