Cinnamon Toast

Cinnamon Toast combines Face Off OG with GSC and is aromatically reminiscent of warm pastries: sweet dough, vanilla and cinnamon meet earth, pine, nuts and a subtle gas undertone. The indica-dominant strain produces compact, heavily resinous flowers.

Editorial profile

Cinnamon Toast in detail

Origin & classification

Cinnamon Toast takes its name from an unusually distinct pastry aroma. The cross of Face Off OG and Girl Scout Cookies, or GSC for short, combines sweet dough and warm spices with the earthy, gassy contours of its OG lineage. We classify it as an indica-dominant hybrid. It grows to a medium height, branches reliably and develops compact, spear-shaped colas with tightly layered calyxes during flowering.

Aroma & flavour

Roasted dough, vanilla and ground cinnamon take centre stage. When the flowers are broken apart, earthy herbs, roasted nuts and a sharper pine note also emerge. A restrained fuel note keeps the profile from appearing purely sweet. In terms of flavour, a creamy, pastry-like foundation is accompanied by a lingering finish of spicy wood and mint. Cinnamon Toast therefore comes across more like richly spiced baked goods than a simple sugar aroma.

Terpene profile

The effects are often described as warm and distinctly physical. The relaxed feeling is said to often begin behind the eyes before spreading throughout the body. At the same time, the mind remains relatively calm and clear, without the frenetic character associated with some strongly mentally stimulating strains. At higher intensity, the physical heaviness can increase considerably. Individual reactions nevertheless vary depending on tolerance, amount, phenotype and batch.

Effect tendency

THC levels of 20 to 26 percent are reported. This range describes possible laboratory results and should not be understood as a fixed content level. The flowering time is approximately eight to nine weeks. During this period, the plant shows moderate stretch and stacks its flowering sites closely along the branches. Strong resin production creates a greasy, glossy layer that may also show amber accents depending on maturity. In cooler night temperatures, purple tones may appear on the sugar leaves and outer calyxes.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

The dense structure requires attention to humidity and air movement during the final phase. Careful thinning can improve light and air penetration into the lower areas, while overfeeding with nitrogen should be avoided. Yield is described as medium to high. Cinnamon Toast thus combines a manageable, vigorous growing profile with a clearly recognisable sensory theme: sweet pastry provides the foundation, cinnamon adds the accent, and Face Off OG gives the whole profile an earthy, gassy aftertaste.
