Cream Mandarine XL Autoflowering in detail
Origin & classification
The “XL” in the name refers to Cream Mandarine XL Autoflowering being a larger and more productive development of the Cream Mandarine automatic. Sweet Seeds crossed an elite clone of Super Tai ’98 with Cream Mandarine Auto for this purpose. The result is described as an indica-sativa hybrid with automatic flowering. We classify the strain as a more vigorous automatic in which the Super Tai side primarily adds height, yield and a noticeably more cerebral orientation.
Aroma & flavour
The aroma combines fresh citrus fruit with spicy, nutty and generally fruity notes. The citrus side is reminiscent of the mandarin line, while gentle nutty aromas and spice add more depth to the profile. Strong yet refined aromatic and flavour qualities, as well as robust resin production, are also emphasised. Specific terpenes are not documented. We therefore limit ourselves to the sensory characteristics described and do not infer a supposedly precise chemical composition from them.
Terpene profile
The effect is characterised by a strong, classically sativa-leaning and cerebral high. Relaxation and a gentle component are also mentioned. This combination distinguishes Cream Mandarine XL Autoflowering from its more physically heavy predecessor. “Sativa-typical” here refers to the recurring description of the mental effect and not necessarily to an precisely quantified genetic dominance. Individual response, quantity, batch and phenotype can influence whether the cerebral intensity or the relaxing side is perceived more strongly.
Effect tendency
The THC content is stated as 18 to 23 percent and should be understood as a phenotype- and batch-dependent range. A CBD value is not known. The plants reach approximately 110 to 150 centimetres, making them significantly larger than many compact automatic strains. Around nine weeks pass from seed to harvest; this is the complete life cycle and not merely the flowering time. Indoors, a possible yield range of 450 to 650 grams per square metre is stated under optimal conditions. No reliable outdoor figure is available. The difficulty level is considered easy, although height and yield remain dependent on light, substrate, climate and phenotype. Cream Mandarine XL Autoflowering therefore combines the rapid development of an automatic with more vertical growth, high breeder-stated yield potential, citrus-spicy aromatics and a strong cerebral effect profile. The XL is a specific distinction from the smaller predecessor, not a guarantee of a particular final size.
