Origin & classification

Double Diesel Ryder was developed by Sagarmatha Seeds with the aim of transferring the distinctive character of Soma’s NYC Diesel into a very compact, autoflowering format. NYC Diesel and Lowryder No. 2 are cited as the parents. This breeding therefore combines an aromatically distinctive diesel line with the light-cycle-independent flowering of an Automatic. We classify Double Diesel Ryder as an autoflowering hybrid.

Aroma & flavour

The plants generally remain small and concentrate much of their growth on one dominant main flower. With ample light, the lower area can nevertheless develop more bushily. The flowers are described as compact, firm and medium-sized, with a somewhat variable shape accompanied by strong orange-coloured pistils. Pronounced resin production is also one of the highlighted characteristics. The aroma becomes noticeable early during flower development, which is why odour development should be considered when choosing a location.

Terpene profile

Diesel-like notes take centre stage aromatically, complemented by an orangey accent. This combination gives Double Diesel Ryder a character that is both fuel-like and fruitily bright.
