John Truffolta was created by crossing Truffaloha S1 #5 and Blueberry Sugar. Blockhead Buds developed this balanced hybrid as a modern successor to Super Boof; Aloha Sugar is documented as an alternative name. The breeding approach combines a vigorous plant structure with pronounced resin production, high yield potential and an aroma that clearly links sweet tropical fruit with gas and earthy depth. The selected Truffaloha line contributes sweet funk and abundant resin, while Blueberry Sugar adds berry sweetness, dark colour expression and structural stability.

John Truffolta presents itself loudly and directly on the nose. Tropical fruit, creamy citrus notes and sugary candy sweetness form the opening, while a sharp, gas-heavy accent provides contrast. In terms of flavour, blood orange and other tropical fruits are described, followed by earthy funk and a complex finish reminiscent of overripe cherry.
