Our prevention set combines 3 Californicus sachets, 3 Cucumeris sachets and 5 million SF nematodes. It supports up to three isolated plants against spider mites, young thrips larvae and fungus gnat larvae. Designed for prevention and very early infestations.

Frequently asked questions

Does the set replace an acute treatment?

No. The set is designed for prevention and very early infestations. For heavy infestations, adjust beneficial-organism quantities and additional measures to the situation. Adult thrips and flying fungus gnats are not directly controlled.

Anwendung & Dosierung

Allow one Californicus and one Cucumeris sachet per isolated plant. For large, densely foliated plants or higher pest pressure, the set may cover fewer plants.

Hold the hanger and suspend the sachet in sheltered foliage near the infestation. Do not squeeze it. Avoid direct sunlight, intense lighting and splashing water.

Leave the sachet closed. An exit hole is already present. Do not cut it open or empty it. Predatory mites reproduce inside and move onto the plant over several weeks.

Mix the 5 million SF nematodes with water following the packaging instructions. They cover up to 10 m² of growing-medium surface. Apply evenly to moist soil, water in with clean water and keep the medium moist for 14 days. Avoid waterlogging. Use the entire mixed solution immediately.

Inhalt

3 Neoseiulus californicus sachets containing 100 predatory mites each. 3 Neoseiulus cucumeris sachets containing 1,000 predatory mites each. The sachets also contain feeder mites and bran.

5 million Steinernema feltiae for application to the growing medium. Lacewing cards and yellow sticky traps are not included.

Verwendung

Check the conditions for each organism

Californicus: air temperature 13-32 °C and relative humidity from 60%. Cucumeris: air temperature 16-25 °C and relative humidity at least 60%. SF nematodes: growing-medium temperature 12-32 °C. Do not apply the predatory mites to tomatoes.

Hang the sachets as soon as possible. Refrigerate nematodes only briefly and observe the printed expiry date.

Check compatibility with previously used plant protection products, neem products, oils and sprays before application. Residues can also harm beneficial organisms. The required waiting period depends on the product used.
