Arjan's Ultra Haze 1 in detail

Origin & classification

Arjan's Ultra Haze 1 combines Neville's Haze with landrace genetics from Cambodia and Laos. Greenhouse Seeds developed this into a strain with approximately 80% Sativa and 20% Indica. Its historical award is specifically documented: in 2006, it took first place at the High Times Cannabis Cup. We classify it as an exotic, long-flowering and demanding Haze breeding.

Aroma & taste

The aroma profile is straightforward but clearly defined. Citrus takes center stage, accompanied by sweetness and a fresh impression. This makes the sensory direction consistent with its bright Sativa character, with no additional spice, earthy or Kush notes documented. Specific terpenes are not disclosed and cannot be reliably derived from general aroma descriptors.

Terpene profile

The effect is described as very intense, cerebral, uplifting and energetic. It also features a distinctly psychedelic or “trippy” perception associated with an active kick. This profile is clearly focused on the mind rather than heavy physical relaxation. However, individual experience, quantity, batch and phenotype influence its course and intensity. The stated THC value of 16,22% is just as variable as the stated 0,19% CBD and 0,53% CBN; these figures should not be considered an immutable composition of every plant.

Effect tendency

In cultivation, Arjan's Ultra Haze 1 requires patience and experience. Its photoperiod flowering period lasts approximately 13–14 weeks, placing it among the longer maturation times in the Haze category. Growth is classified as tall both indoors and outdoors. For outdoor cultivation, the documented harvest window is at the beginning of November, which requires a correspondingly long and suitable season. The strain also responds well to Low-Stress Training.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

Potential yields are stated at approximately 700g/m² indoors and up to 1150g per plant outdoors. These breeder-provided figures require excellent conditions and depend on light, climate, root space, season length, training and care. Arjan's Ultra Haze 1 therefore combines three particularly distinctive characteristics: Southeast Asian landrace influences, a long flowering period and an intense cerebral effect. Its 2006 Cup success provides a reliable historical reference, while the precise expression of potency, yield and maturity may vary with each crop.
