Arjan's Ultra Haze 2 in detail
Origin & classification
Arjan's Ultra Haze 2 was created by combining Neville's Haze, Mango Haze and a landrace from Laos. Green House Seeds developed this photoperiod strain to bring together classic Haze characteristics and Southeast Asian landrace genetics. We classify Arjan's Ultra Haze 2 as a distinctly sativa-dominant hybrid; the Sativa content is stated as 80 percent. Its exotic, tropical-looking appearance suits this genetic background.
Aroma & flavour
The aroma profile combines fruity and sweet impressions with a pronounced woody or forest-like character. This gives the strain a complex flavour profile without losing its classic Haze orientation. The flowers do not necessarily develop a uniform, geometric shape, instead displaying a looser, more natural structure. This less compact structure and tall growth are reminiscent of traditional Sativa plants.
Terpene profile
The effects are repeatedly described as uplifting, motivating, energetic and sociable. Its focus therefore lies more on an stimulating, communicative experience than on heavy physical relaxation. The THC content has been stated as approximately 17 to 18 percent, or specifically around 17.53 percent; however, such measurements may vary depending on phenotype, cultivation conditions and batch. CBD is present at a low level of 0.16 percent.
Effect tendency
When cultivated, Arjan's Ultra Haze 2 requires patience and sufficient space. It grows large indoors and outdoors and requires approximately 12 to 13 weeks in the photoperiod flowering stage. For outdoor cultivation, harvest is stated as occurring towards the end of October. Under suitable conditions, an outdoor plant can produce up to 1,000 grams, although location, climate, care and phenotype have a significant impact on the result. The strain is considered difficult and is therefore primarily suitable for experienced growers who can reliably control vigorous stretch and a long flowering phase.
Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance
Its competition history is also part of the profile: first-place finishes at the High Times Cannabis Cup and the Champions Cup are listed for 2005. Arjan's Ultra Haze 2 therefore combines outstanding breeding work with a clearly recognisable Haze character. Those who can plan for its space requirements and long maturation period will receive a tall-growing strain with a tropical appearance, distinctive fruit-and-wood aromas and effects described as predominantly invigorating.
