Editorial profile

Atomical Haze in detail

Origin & classification

Paradise Seeds developed Atomical Haze as another Haze breeding project following Delahaze. According to the breeder-specific description, the strain combines Original Haze with a classic Indian line and a sweet Afghani. The Original Haze side is historically described as including Colombian, Mexican and Thai Sativa landraces. This origin also explains the stated breeding objective: a pronounced Haze profile whose plants are more manageable and whose flowering period is less extended than that of classic Haze.

Aroma & flavour

The plants can nevertheless become quite tall. They are described as well proportioned, with medium-sized leaves, many branches and numerous large flowers. The brief English source adds resin-rich, spear-shaped colas. In the description available here, Paradise Seeds recommends initiating flowering early; after a longer vegetative phase, fewer but larger plants can be expected. Tying plants down is mentioned as one way to control height. These notes apply to the documented Paradise Seeds version and cannot automatically be transferred to similarly named lines.

Terpene profile

In terms of flavour, sweet-and-sour kiwi, sharp citrus freshness and a delicate Haze aftertaste take centre stage. The Haze note is said to remain on the tongue for longer after exhalation. Specific terpenes are not provided, so no chemical composition may be inferred from the flavour notes. The intensity of individual nuances may also vary depending on phenotype, maturity, drying and storage.

Effect tendency

The effect is described in both language versions as strongly uplifting, head-focused and long-lasting. Paradise Seeds categorises it more as an active daytime profile and emphasises that it may keep users awake for a long time. These are recurring source descriptions, not guaranteed effects or consumption recommendations. Individual sensitivity and the specific batch remain decisive.

Cannabinoids, flowering & appearance

For indoor flowering, the breeder-specific description states nine weeks or approximately 63 days; the general profile field lists nine to ten weeks. Outdoors, the harvest window is given as the end of October in the Northern Hemisphere. Stated yields of 450 grams per square metre indoors and 700 grams per plant outdoors are manufacturer figures and not a promise. The category and THC content are particularly problematic: the German version inconsistently states “Indica 80% / Sativa 20%”, even though it simultaneously describes dominant Sativa/Haze genetics; the English source calls Atomical Haze Sativa-dominant. The figures 15 to 18% and 18 to 22% THC also conflict. These values should be omitted until clarified.
