Origin & classification
ACE Seeds presents China Yunnan as a rare, indica-dominant landrace or inbred line from Yunnan. The southern Chinese province borders Myanmar and provides the geographical reference for this selection. The source describes it as combining classic Indica traits with individual South Asian Sativa characteristics. A cross between two named parent strains has therefore not been documented; the strain data wording “China × Mostly Indica” only inadequately reflects its origin.

According to the description, China Yunnan develops a robust, compact and short-internode structure with broad leaves and the appearance of a traditional hash plant. After a short vegetative phase, plants grown indoors are said to grow more columnar and form one large main flower. With a longer growth period outdoors, however, a more heavily branched, almost spherical shape is described. The flowers are considered resin-rich and comparatively fast-maturing.
