Corleone Kush in detail

Origin & classification

Corleone Kush comes from crossing Pre-98 Bubba Kush and SFV OG Kush. The Cali Connection is named as the original breeder. This pairing brings together the compact, earthy-hashy Bubba side and the lemony, fuel-like profile of the SFV line. We classify Corleone Kush as a distinctly indica-dominant West Coast hybrid; an approximate ratio of 80 percent Indica to 20 percent Sativa is given.

Aroma & flavour

The aroma begins with a deep base of earth, incense and pine. Above this sits a sharp blend of lemon and gas, accompanied by spicy hash notes. Dark berries and a subtle mint note are described in the background. Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene are considered important components of the aroma profile. However, specific terpene concentrations can vary with phenotype, cultivation and drying. The flowers appear dense and resin-rich, with swollen calyxes and a notably greasy-looking layer of trichomes.

Terpene profile

Recurring experiential descriptions initially mention pressure behind the eyes. A pronounced physical heaviness then develops, which can settle deeply into the limbs, while the mental state becomes calmer and slower. Corleone Kush is therefore primarily associated with the evening. This is a typical description and not a guarantee: individual sensitivity, dosage and the specific flower chemistry determine whether calm, heaviness or other aspects actually predominate.

Effect tendency

The stated THC range of 18 to 23 percent should be understood as dependent on batch and phenotype; CBD is described as very low. In cultivation, the strain shows broad leaves, tight internodes and a compact basic structure. The SFV OG influence can cause moderate stretch during the transition to flowering. Two distinct expressions are mentioned: a shorter Bubba type and a taller, more vigorous OG type that may require more support. The flowering time is around eight to nine weeks. Due to the dense flowers, controlled humidity is particularly relevant late in flowering. Warm, dry to Mediterranean conditions are considered preferable; yield potential is described as medium to high. Cooler nights can promote purple hues, but are not a fixed characteristic of every plant. Corleone Kush therefore combines classic Kush structure, intensive resin production and an earthy-lemony gas profile with an especially heavy effect description.
